Not that there are any signs of difficulty in Heringman’s controlled and accomplished performance. . . . Jacob Heringman is on excellent form on this disc; his performance is accomplished and his interpretations convincing. There is just the right degree of rubato, and of dynamic variation in his playing, and the quality of the recorded sound is excellent, perhaps about as close to the sound of the live instrument as you are likely to hear. . . . Recommended.
